The challenge
Sinful Group, a leading online retailer in the adult industry, faced limitations with their monolithic Magento-based e-commerce platform. As their business grew, scalability, flexibility, and performance became increasingly difficult to maintain. They needed to transition to a modern microservices architecture to improve performance, enhance agility, and ensure long-term scalability. Additionally, their internal development team needed upskilling to adopt modern frontend technologies and best practices.
Our contribution
We led Sinful Group’s replatforming journey, guiding them through the migration from Magento to a modern, scalable microservices architecture. Our team helped design the new system, ensuring modularity, high availability, and easy extensibility. As part of the project, we mentored Sinful's internal team on best practices for modern frontend technologies, empowering them to maintain and evolve the platform on their own. The result was a high-performing, scalable e-commerce system that could handle growing traffic and sales, while also enabling Sinful to move faster in a competitive market.
